October Eves

Listen! The wind is rising
and the air is wild with leaves
We had our summer evenings
now for October eves!

The path we walk is winding
Our havens we've prepared to leave
We have had our youthful living
Now for October Eves!

Our minds are filled with teachings
Never sure what to believe
We have spent our past accepting
now for October Eves!

The stars above are guiding
The innocence begins to leave
